Certified Sommelier Course
The Certified Sommelier Course is constructed around an certified version of the AIS (Italian Sommelier Association) curriculum, and reputed as the best Sommelier program in the world thanks to about 50 years of professional experience and development. Strength points of this curriculum AIS’s unique and patented ‘technical tasting method‘, their highest standard of service instruction and the globally acclaimed and patented ‘technical pairing methodology‘, for which the AIS curriculum is famous.
The certificate Course “Sommelier” requires no previous professional wine experience. It is an incredible opportunity for people passionate about the glorious world of wine and to those whose familiarity lacks true breadth. It is a full Sommelier course tailored to those who either already work in the wine & restaurant industries or those who desire to obtain the highest possible education.
The course will include tasting of more than 100 of the finest wines and spirits and will cover the following topics: Viticulture and Oenology, Wines of the World and Food & Wine pairing. Food & Wine pairing is the AIS’ curriculum’s biggest strength worldwide and a distinction for which it is highly regarded throughout the globe, having developed a highly functional, unique technical method and chart, trademark of the Italian Sommelier Association (AIS).

Any cancellation received by ANZIS prior to 30 days of beginning of course will be refunded 100%. Any and all cancellations received less than 30 days prior to the commencement of the course will NOT be refunded. Applicant can however retain the credit for future courses and products. Australian & New Zealand Institute of Sommeliers will make all efforts to satisfy a course completion but retains the right to cancel the course up to 24 hours before the date and time of commencement with a 100% refund.
